Samuel Bonar C. Sianipar

Samuel is a litigator equipped with commercial dispute resolution matter experiences. He graduated from the Faculty of Law University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum) in 2010 and earned his Master of Laws (Magister Hukum) degree from the same university in 2014.

Before founding ABP | Advocaten, Samuel built an extensive and distinguished career with several prominent Indonesian litigation law firms. Over the course of his practice, he has handled a broad range of complex litigation and dispute matters, including commercial disputes, bankruptcy and suspension of debt payment obligations (PKPU) and debt restructuring, arbitration, criminal matters, employment disputes, and environmental cases.

Samuel has extensive experience in advising, assisting, and representing clients in complex and high-stakes legal proceedings before the Indonesian District Courts, Industrial Relations Court, BANI Arbitration Centre, the Singapore High Court, the Indonesian Prosecutor’s Office, and the Criminal Investigation Department of the Indonesian National Police (Bareskrim Polri).

His broad exposure to contentious matters across multiple areas of law has enabled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of dispute resolution, litigation strategy, and the management of complex legal proceedings, both in Indonesia and in cross-border matters.

Samuel is a registered advocate (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia/PERADI), receiver and administrator for bankruptcy (Asosiasi Kurator dan Pengurus Indonesia/AKPI) and tax attorney.
